A Very Special Invitation for Young Men in New York City

We sincerely hope recent months have been kind to you and your family. The changes we have all had to make in order to adjust to the new world we inhabit have hit many of us hard over the summer; the hardest hit being the youth. For that reason, we have decided that this is the prime time to double down on our Young Masterminds Initiative efforts, and open our intake for membership this month.

Young Mastermind’s Initiative… what’s that again?

Formerly a youth program from the Mastermind Connect men’s collective, the Young Masterminds Initiative (“YMI”) is now a New York Based 501(c)3 organization that promotes mentoring, leadership and positive self-awareness. Through programs like Camping to Connect, Mastermind in a Master Body, and Mastering Your Craft, our initiative creates unique experiences that teach young men of color about the value of brotherhood, community, and the pursuit of excellence through our pillars of resources, reciprocity and respect.

What comes with that?

Glad you asked! Participants receive access to live, virtual content and events, workforce and personal development resources, mentorship, and opportunities to connect with other young men who are looking to build their future and forge lifelong relationships. Participants share amazing experiences, like learning new crafts, career panels, conversations about health and wellness, and even hiking and camping trips to address the issue of nature deficiency in urban youth.

“Sounds cool... what do I do next?”

There’s a limited amount of open slots for this year. Forward this email to a young man you feel could benefit from this initiative and have him fill out the application below. One of our staff reach out to him (or his parents) to follow up with next steps. You can also help us by donating to this worthy cause!
